Ontario Tech acknowledges the lands and people of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

We are thankful to be welcome on these lands in friendship. The lands we are situated on are covered by the Williams Treaties and are the traditional territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation, including Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi. These lands remain home to many Indigenous nations and peoples.

We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home.

This history is something we are all affected by because we are all treaty people in Canada. We all have a shared history to reflect on, and each of us is affected by this history in different ways. Our past defines our present, but if we move forward as friends and allies, then it does not have to define our future.

This resource will guide you through the class registration process.

Here are some helpful tips and tricks you should know, about the registration process;

  1. Learn how to plan ahead by creating your schedule. Our helpful how-to video will walk you through the process.
  2. If you run into any roadblocks when registering for your courses, check out our registration FAQs, which includes information on ways to resolve common error messages. You can also view our helpful registration how-to video to guide you through the process.
  3. Be sure to check the Academic Calendar frequently for important dates and deadlines.
  4. View and confirm your schedule on MyOntarioTech by selecting the Current students box, then under Registration, select Student schedule.
  5. Knowing your Program Map will help ensure you register for the correct courses. If you have any questions about your specific program map, reach out to your Academic Advisor.
  6. What is a CRN? It's a 5-digit course reference number which identifies the specific section of a course. This is important for knowing which particular course(s) you need to register for.
  7. Our Course Registration Guide is a helpful step-by-step guide on how to register and what comes next. 
  8. Your Verification Of Enrollment (VOE) is a letter confirming you are registered for the semester. You can request your VOE on MyOntarioTech by selecting the Current students box, then under Student records, select Undergraduate verification of enrollment.
