Welcome to SGPS course registration

We are happy you are joining us for your graduate academic journey!

Our course registration guide provides you with step-by-step information on how to register for your graduate level courses that you need for your upcoming term. Make sure you read all instructions carefully to ensure your registration process is as smooth as possible.

Registration Information

The university uses an online registration system through MyOntarioTech. You will be notified of your registration date and time by email. You may register at any point after your allotted time. Keep in mind that you should register as soon as possible for access to the broadest selection of courses. Once the registration window has opened, it will remain open and you can continue to make changes to your schedule up until the posted registration deadlines.

For administrative purposes, all graduate students in flat-fee programs are registered in a specific course known as a “continuance course”. This confirms that the student is registered in the graduate program until they have met all program requirements and are eligible to graduate. Unless the student has applied and been approved for a leave of absence from the program, they are automatically re-registered in this course at the beginning of each semester. Although the course code appears on the student's transcript, it is not graded or calculated into the student's GPA.
