Registration start dates

This page helps you understand when to register for the courses you need for the upcoming academic year.

Reminders and tips: 

  • *Eligible SAS students who have this included as part of their accommodation plan will receive an email notification if permitted to register early. 
  • Check your student email (ontariotechu.net) and the Ontario Tech Mobile App regularly for important registration updates and reminders.
  • You are responsible for checking your earned hours before your registration window opens.
  • To avoid delays, log in to the registration system 30 minutes before your start time.

Registration start dates

  • Fall 2025 and Winter 2026
    • Registration for fall and winter courses will open based on your earned hours. Check the table below to see when you can register. 
    • If you're starting Year 1, your registration date and time will be based on having 0–23 earned hours and the first letter of your last name.
    • If you're a returning student or have transfer credits, make sure to confirm your earned hours before registering.
    • Course preview will be available on MyOntarioTech.
