Registration start dates

Spring/Summer 2025 semester

 

Confirm your earned hours to determine your registration time:  

Your earned hours are based on the number of your successfully completed course credit hours (including transfer credits), and will determine when your course registration window will open. 

To view your earned hours, follow these steps:

  1. Go to MyOntarioTech.
  2. Select the Current students box.
  3. In the Student records box, select Student profile. Note: If this is your first time accessing your profile, you may be asked to log in again, using your MyOntarioTech username and password.
  4. Your earned hours are shown as Overall Hours in the top banner or below the top banner in the Hours and GPA tab.

Registration opens for students with 99 to 999 earned hours 

12 p.m. 

Registration opens for students with 84 to 98 earned hours

Registration opens for students with 54 to 68 earned hours

Note: *Eligible SAS students who have this included as part of their accommodation plan will receive an email notification if permitted to register early. 

Important to note: 

  • Continue to check your student email and the Ontario Tech Mobile app for updates and reminders about registration. 
  • To reduce slower login times, it is highly recommended that you login to the system 30 minutes prior to your registration start time.
  • It is your responsibility to confirm your earned hours prior to your registration. 
  • Spring/Summer 2025 course preview will become available on MyOntarioTech on March 27, 2025.

Fall 2024/Winter 2025 semesters 

Registration will open for the Fall/Winter semesters according to the table below:

  • If you are a returning student or have transfer credits, please confirm your earned hours first and register for your courses according the table below. 
  • If you are entering Year 1, your registration date/time slot will be based on the 00-23 earned hours and the first letter of your last name.

Important to note: 

  • Continue to check your student email and the Ontario Tech Mobile app for updates and reminders about registration. 
  • To reduce slower login times, it is highly recommended that you login to the system 30 minutes prior to your registration start time.
  • It is your responsibility to confirm your earned hours prior to your registration. 
  • Course preview will be available on Friday, June 14 at 9 a.m.
