What is a T4A?
The T4A is an official document for tax purposes that shows all other income you have received from January to December in any given year.
You will receive a T4A from the university if you have received any:
- Bursaries
- CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC scholarships and bursaries
- Donor awards
- Graduate research assistantships (GRAs)
- Scholarships
When will I receive it?
T4A forms are released by the last business day in February. They are available directly via your secure My Profile. These forms are not mailed.
How do I access my T4A?
You access your T4A form through your My Profile.
- Within My Profile: select Canadian Tax forms and select the tax year.
- Download the printable version of your T4A.
Important Notes:
- You can also find the link to your T4A statement of pension, retirement, annuity and other income via MyOntarioTech under My finances.
- It is important that we have your most up-to-date address on file for your T4A. To check and update your mailing address:
- Go to MyOntarioTech.
- Select your student type: Undergraduate Students, or Graduate Students.
- Click on My Information.
- Select Personal information and then navigate to the Address section.
- If you need to update your address: in the Address box, select Edit (pencil) and input your address then select Update.
