Out-of-province student tuition

Tuition fee information for 2025-2026

You are considered a Domestic (Out-of-province) student if you are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, and you do not meet the definition of a Domestic (Ontario resident) student.

Students who have been charged the Domestic (Out-of-province) tuition rate may be eligible for the Domestic (Ontario resident) rate and may submit a request to have their residency status assessed.

  1. First, verify your year of study by confirming your earned hours.
  2. Next, choose your program from the options below.
  3. To review your tuition costs for this year, you can also check your Account Summary and look for line item(s) called Tuition Fees.

You will notice there are fees on your account that are separate from your tuition costs. All of these fees are approved by both the Board of Governors and the Ontario Tech Student Union. To learn more visit the following pages: Ancillary Fees, Miscellaneous and Administrative fees.
