Fees and payment
Your university education is one of the most important investments you will make! It is very important you understand all the fees that make up your total costs, such as tuition, compulsory ancillary fees, additional compulsory fees and specific course-related fees.
Your semester fees are due each term. It is your responsibility to make sure your tuition and fees are paid in full by the posted deadlines for your program (undergraduate vs. graduate). We encourage you to be proactive and know how much you owe and when. We recommend you do the following often:
- Review and follow the payment and refund deadlines for every semester.
- Regularly review your account summary on MyOntarioTech for any changes and updates.
- If you are an OSAP student, find out if you are eligible for a deferment.
- Review your payment options and contact us if you have any questions.
We understand that university can be expensive—our Student Awards and Financial Aid (SAFA) team are here to assist you with your funding options, such as bursaries, on-campus employment, scholarships and student loans. To learn more, or to discuss your university finances with one of our counsellors, please visit our SAFA website or contact us.
