Ontario Tech acknowledges the lands and people of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

We are thankful to be welcome on these lands in friendship. The lands we are situated on are covered by the Williams Treaties and are the traditional territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation, including Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi. These lands remain home to many Indigenous nations and peoples.

We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home.

This history is something we are all affected by because we are all treaty people in Canada. We all have a shared history to reflect on, and each of us is affected by this history in different ways. Our past defines our present, but if we move forward as friends and allies, then it does not have to define our future.

The registration guide provides you with step-by-step information on how to register for the courses you need for your upcoming academic year. Make sure you read all instructions carefully to ensure your registration process is as smooth as possible.

For your next step in the registration process, select what type of student you are from the list below:

  • I am a new student entering Year 1
    1. You may now log into your MyCampus student portal. This account gives you access to information and services you require as a current student.
      • Log in using your Student Number as the username and your date of birth as the password (in MMDDYY format).
    2. Review the registration start dates to confirm your registration window and re-read your welcome email for your registration time.
    3. Review your program map for all required courses you will need to register in for your first year of study.

    We will continue to communicate with you throughout the academic year via MyCampus postings and your UOITnet email; continue to check both regularly for up-to-date information.

  • I am a new student admitted to upper-year standing
    1. Confirm your year level for registration purposes.
    2. You may now log into your MyCampus student portal. This account gives you access to information and services you require as a current student.
      • Log in using your Student Number as the username and your date of birth as the password (in MMDDYY format).
    3. Review the registration start dates to confirm your registration window.
    4. Follow the program map specified in the Academic Calendar for your program. For further clarification, consult your academic advisor.
  • I am a returning or readmitted student
    1. Confirm your year level for registration purposes.
    2. Check MyCampus to see if you have any unpaid fees from a previous semester. If so, you will have a financial hold on your account that will prevent you from registering for courses. The hold will be removed when you have paid the outstanding fees on your account.
    3. Review the registration start dates to confirm your registration window.
    4. Follow the program map specified in the Academic Calendar for your program. For further clarification, consult your academic advisor.
