Next steps
Once an application is submitted, the student will receive a confirmation email. On average, admissions decisions are issued two to three weeks after a sufficiently complete application has been submitted.
Applicants have access to Ontario Tech University's online Applicant Portal. It is recommended that students frequently visit their Applicant Portal to view:
- The status of their application
- The list of documentation that has been received or is still required
- Official admissions letters
Once a student has been accepted, they must apply for a study permit at Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Citizens from some countries may also be required to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization.
