Distance education ID request

If you are a Distance Education student who would like to request a campus ID card, please email with the following information:

  • Your full name and Student Number.
  • Contact number where Campus ID staff can reach you from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

You will be contacted by a staff member from the Campus ID office within two working days after your request is reviewed. Upon approval, a card will be mailed to your address on file. Please ensure your address is up-to-date on MyCampus

For security reasons, the Distance Education identification card provided by mail will not include a photo. The card must be presented with government-issued photo identification to be valid. If you are able to visit the Campus ID office in person, you can obtain a standard-issued photographic Campus ID card instead, or replace your non-photographic card at no cost (first-time only).

Please note: Use of this card is governed by the university’s policies. The person identified is fully responsible for use of campus property authorized by this card. Lost or damaged cards must be reported immediately to the Campus ID office. This card is the property of the university and must be surrendered on request by Campus Security. The university assumes no liability arising out of, or in respect to, third-party services facilitated through the use of this card.
